DOSS PRESENTS LAPSI
LAPSI is one of the latest applications developed and manufactured by Doss Visual Solution Srl for the quality check of flat plates made of fibre cement. This device can grant a very high image’s quality and better performances in the search for small defects due to the fact that it works on a different logic principles with respect to those manufactured up to now. This device is equipped with linear cameras managed by PC and no longer by vision systems. The unit consists of an aluminium structure where two cameras and a fix LED illuminator are placed. The supply is completed with an encoder and a photocell for the management of the image acquisition. The software analyses the images thanks to a series of algorithms that can be set by the operator. Among the defects that can be detected, there are lacks of material, flash on the profiles, surface stains of different colours and relative measure (mm2/mm), surface breaks. The plates can be of various colours like dark grey, white, beige, red, yellow, green. The software then saves the results of the inspection (good/scrap/recoverable) in an archive and they can be easily accessed for future call up.
