Description

Automatic sorting machine for big gaskets, composed of 2 inspection stations. The feeder unit positions the pieces one by one on the transportation system and continuosly conveys them to the first "pickup" area (first robot). The robot puts the parts, one by one, onto the plate and checks their dimensions by means of the optic-electronic control group.

If the part is good, it will be laid on a metal plate and picked up by the second robot. This will stretch the part and put it into rotation in front of the vision inspection unit. Here surface defects are processed according to the parameters' setting. Few second later, this robot will sort good pieces and rejects into different bins.

The rejected parts are conveyed separately to outlets, that can be fitted with bags, cartons or PVC boxes, either inside or outside the machine for collection of the parts. The man-machine interface offers the operator an easy-to-learn menu with subtitles indicating each of the machine functions. An informative screen is associated with each control station so that the rate of rejects, sorted by type, can be monitored, as well as the number of goods parts.

At any time, a full report can be obtained (number of rejects, number per type of fault, number of good parts, etc.) for each individual station or group of stations, the data can be printed out or submitted to statistical calculations (associated with each order number).
